Less than hour away by car is the region capital of Aosta, which is easily accessible for a day trip.The ski terrain above Valtournenche is fantastic, ideal for both skiers and snowboarders, and with plenty of different runs to chose from. This particular ski area is famous for one of the biggest vertical ski jumps in the world. In the warmer months, Valtournenche is transformed into rolling green hillsides and mountains, perfect for pleasant hikes that always offer rewarding views of the gorgeous surrounding area.
