Gubbio is a perfect example of the typical Umbrian city with its mountain slope setting and distinct medieval feel. There are many attractions to explore throughout Gubbio including the Palazzo dei Consoli, the Church of San Francesco and the Basilica of Sant'Ubaldo. The Palazzo dei Consoli is a 14th century palace with a museum containing the famous Eugubine Tablets, bronze tablets discovered there in the 15th century. The town itself dates back over 2000 years ensuring that many historical sights are right at tourists' doorsteps.

All the nuns were so friendly and kind. I have never stayed somewhere so clean and the room had a lovely view of a backstreet in Gubbio. It is also in a nice part of Gubbio (which is all scenic and very small).
