This is a wonderful choice for those looking for a peaceful, tranquil experience on the stunning island of Sardegna.

Being centrally located, there are some great surrounding cities that are all close enough for daytrips. Nuoro is a short drive away; a town set on the side of a mountain, the sight of the discovery of evidence of human civilisation dating as far back as 3,500 B.C. The capital of the island, Cagliari, can be reached in less than 90 minutes from Desulo, and is full of fantastic attractions. While in Cagliari, it is a must to visit Castello, the historic part of the town (it used to be the town centre) which sits upon a hill offering spectacular views of the Gulf of Cagliari. A trip to the west coast will lead guests to Oristano, famous for the horse race held every year for the past 500 years, known as "Sa Sartiglia". Oristano also features the tower of St. Christophoros, a 13th century tower that used to be one of the main gates to the city.
