Giaveno is also nearby and with a history dating back to 1001AD, it is definitely worth a look. The town's main cathedral, the Church of Batu, is a wonderful 16th century structure that is breathtaking both inside and out. For those staying a few days, a day trip to Turin is easy and only takes an hour by car.
