A lovely atmosphere covers this monastery, which is complemented by top hospitality and proximity to the lovely east coast of Italy - a top offering.Although a small town, there are some good attractions in the city and surrounding area. The Torrione Museum is a great showcase of various types of art. There are also various churches in the city which are worth a look (Grottammare was the birthplace of Pope Sixtus V). General Transport History
The construction of the lodging dates back to the year 1600, on the site of a small shrine on top of a hill in Grottammare. The origins of the shrine reportedly date back to the 14th century. This shrine was originally erected as a memorial and place of prayer at a time when the Plague was sweeping through the area.
