There are also a number of significant churches and basilica's in the city well worth a visit. There is a great golf course to the north west of the city centre, which is over 75 years old. When not sightseeing the city and surrounding areas, a simple walk along the beach in the afternoon sun is an experience in itself, or a meal and a drink in one of the many cafes and restaurants in Rapallo is another way to enjoy a relaxing vacation. There are plenty of walking and mountain bike trails nearby, offering an adventurous way to explore the ancient villages of the area. ServicesThis monastery is operated by the Santuario di Nostra Signora di Montallegro.The church makes this such an enchanting and spiritual place to stay. There is a cable car that connects guests to the monastery and the city centre, which runs both ways for an easy way to visit the city below. Mass is celebrated everyday at 9:30am and 5:00pm. Extra services are held on Sundays at 8:30am, 9:30am and 11:30am. There is a lovely dining room at the sanctuary, where guests can relax and enjoy a fresh, authentic Italian meal.
