Villa Adriana has stunning accommodation, offering guests a relaxing stay with fantastic hospitality - a sublime offering in the Cinque Terre.
There is never a shortage of things to see and do when staying in the picturesque Cinque Terre area. There are always walking trails nearby, where you can take in the stunning environment and breathtaking views.
In Monterosso al Mare there are ruins of an ancient castle, and the main church (St. John the Baptist) is a wonderful piece of architecture and is well worth a look.
The lodging is also close to the amazing beach of the city, so a dip in the ocean is never far away.

What a beautiful location. The rooms are comfortably appointed and very clean. The staff was delightful. Always smiling and so helpful. AND….best breakfast ever!!!
This monastery is operated by the Diocesi di Bolzano.
The monastery is surrounded by a lovely garden, ideal for finding a quiet spot by yourself for peaceful reflection. There is a beautiful area next to the pool, with sun lounges and a beautiful garden with secular palms, where you can enjoy the warm Mediterranean climate.
No Mass is held. Guests can access chapel at all times for private prayer.
There is a pool at the lodging that is available for guest use. The staff at the lodging are more than happy to help out with organising trips to attractions in the area, with brochures and plenty of handy local information.
The dining room is beautifully presented, with comfortable seating and wonderful authentic Italian cuisine on offer. Perfect for a meal and a drink after a day of sightseeing.

This stay was the highlight of my month long stay in Italy. Perfect, convenient location off the main tourist road in Monterosso. Beautifully landscaped gardens, exquisite villa with comfortable rooms - mine had a water view snd lovely hills from the balcony. Wonderful pool, friendly, polite, helpful staff- I can’t say enough positive about this hotel villa. I wondered if I was choosing the best of the five towns to stay in, and I’m so happy with my decision. I hope to be back soon!

More like a hotel than a monastery. Could control the AC from each room. Very nice.

A beautiful setting. Very clean with beautiful surroundings. Great location. Excellent breakfast.
Rose - KY, United States (September 2016)
This place was FANTASTIC! It was a wonderful place to stay. The buffet breakfast was amazing, the room was great and the view was spectacular.
Alison - British Columbia, Canada (May 2016)
Delightful stay...absolutely DELICIOUS breakfast, with fresh pastries, fruits -- even scrambled and hard boiled eggs! My corner room was quite noisy due to high winds at night, but I would highly recommend this accommodation.
Deborah - CA, United States (September 2015)
Loved it and would like to commend the staff. They were great and one of the best breakfasts I have had in ten visits to Italy.
Adam - New South Wales, Australia (September 2015)
I was extremely happy with my stay. My room was perfect with sea and garden views. I will definitely be back.
Isabelle - Victoria, Australia (July 2015)
Beautiful hotel with gorgeous surroundings. We loved everything about this place. Close to public transport to visit other Cinque Terre villages. But quiet at night. And the pool is so welcome after a long hot day of touring.
Staff were extremely pleasant and helpful at all times.

I had a great stay, this is a very lovely place. I also tried their restaurant one night that serve dinner for 18euros (excluding drinks) that is good and also a great value compared to the restaurants in town - however there is only one sitting at 7:30pm. It includes an appetizer buffet (lots of choices), a first and second course and dessert.
Maria - Ontario, Canada (April 2015)
The rooms were very clean, spacious, secure and comfortable- I thought the pictures on the website undersold them! The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful and were only to keen to accommodate gluten-free meal options for me. Wifi was a bit patchy but otherwise we absolutely loved our stay and would stay here again.
Taryn - Victoria, Australia (July 2014)
The best by far, everything great. No complaints at all, and great food and service and WiFi in room!
Elizabeth - New South Wales, Australia (July 2013)
Beautiful accommodation - like a resort hotel. Breakfast was amazing - very comfortable. The location was close to the beach - we would prefer to be in one of the smaller towns of the Cinque Terre. But the Adriana was first class in every way, and the staff were friendly and just plain wonderful.
Appalachian - NC, United States (May 2012)
Wonderful accommodations. Great location. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean, safe, spacious. Amazing value.
