This convent is operated by the Suore della Providenza Rosminiane.

This guest house has undergone several restorations since it was first built but still retains its original facade. The grandeur and period style features remain and give guests a more traditional feel during their stay.

Breakfast is included in the price. Other meals are available (additional) and bookings can be arranged with reception.

Features

Spacious and luminous rooms located over several floors are clean and well maintained. Surrounding this venue are large open gardens, which are immaculate and perfect for those who wish to unwind after a day of sight seeing.

Getting Around

Located in the coastal town of Chiavari, between Genova and La Spezia. Also close to the Cinque Terre National Park. City with easy access. Well located for walking to the beach and Chiavari's central attractions. Public transport to central and surrounding locations is also nearby.  

History

Built in the 19th century, this lodging was acquired by the Sisters that run it in 1934.

	Had an excellent stay at this accommodation: very helpful, friendly nuns as well as the kitchen help. No English was spoken, therefore, it was a great Italian immersion experience.

	Nuns and Ladies who runs this place were all very friendly. Easy to find and provided with parking was added bonus. Very close to beaches and room was clean. Only concern was bed they had were little bit too soft (worn out?. Overall we truly enjoyed our stay there.

	Although the building is somewhat old, the facility is a short walk from the beach and the train station. Only one sister spoke a bit of English, but these sisters were so friendly and accommodating that they made this part of my trip my favorite! For example, when I explained that I wouldn't make breakfast one day due to a day trip, they gave me food the night before. One discrepancy from the website: no soap provided.
