This monastery is operated by the Don Bosco.

Completely renovated providing guests with modern facilities adjoining guest rooms within the original villa facade. A beautiful chapel, outdoor spaces and cloisters make this a well appointed guest house.

Breakfast is not included in the price, but may be available to groups on request. There are many cafes and dining options within walking distance of the venue.

History

A university residence for over 40 years. The house was completely rebuilt in 1962 to accommodate the growing number of students who wished to be part of the Don Bosco family.

	Firstly it was great. Peaceful, great location and excellent value. It helps to have a little Italian. I was more than happy with my room as it had a balcony and superb view of the river. Coming and going was no problem, and the peaceful atmosphere was very relaxing. Would use again.

	Our stay was great and very comfortable, it's a great location, and much less expensive than hotels etc in a similar location. Wifi was good. The staff were very friendly and helpful, but because of these deficiencies described above I have only given a rating of 5 for service. I would appreciate my comments being passed on to the management.

	The school is very traditional, simple, quiet, and welcoming. The staff are very helpful and they go out of their way to help in any way that they can. I stayed here during the summer holidays and there was a music masterclass taking place. It was lovely hearing so many violins play.

	It took a while for service when I rang the bell - not a huge issue. Wifi was not possible easily - I understood this was possible on the Monestary stay site. I was given a name and login which I could not make work.

	A five minute walk away from Verona City centre and a well equipped kitchen makes this place worth it. The in-house students were very polite and since we stayed over the weekend when most local students were visiting home we didn't have trouble getting a good night's sleep. Don Antonio Maino spoke very little English but was an extremely kind and helpful man - one we'll remember for a long time.

	There is not a better place to see Verona from. You are a short walk to the river, Ponte Castelvecchio, and the Arena. Very comfortable rooms, AC in the summer. There are a variety of bus stops near by as well. Will be back.

	The rooms are very clean. Don Maino is the one in charge. He is very friendly and helpful. There was no wifi, so i used his computer. There was not any breakfast but this is not a bid deal for us. Rooms are clean, there is plenty of space to put luggage, bathrooms are also good. All in all, i also recommend it to budget travellers... i mean, you are going to see the city not stay in the hotel.

	We were slightly worried when we arrived and they seemed not to be expecting us. However, they quickly sorted out our 2 twin rooms. It was good to have the communal kitchen. Quality of accommodation was not as good as our other places this being more like student halls but the location is excellent for Verona.
