Only 30m away from the town's main attraction, the Duomo Cathedral, it is a prime location for walking and taking in the many sights Orvieto has to offer. Warm hospitality and great outdoor areas make for a great stay in an elegant lodging.

One of the most interesting and historic cities in the country. Orvieto is a major vineyard region, famed for its white wines of Grechetto and Trebbiano grapes. The town's 13th century Duomo Cathedral and San Brizio Chapel is a beautiful example of Gothic architecture, impeccably maintained both inside and out. The most fascinating site in Orvieto is its underground city, open to the public for guided tours. This labyrinth of passages, stairs, rooms, cellars and wells was used by noble families to siege's many years ago. It took some 2500 years of digging to complete the amazing tunnels.

	Really excellent location. Very pleasant staff. Most of the time, there was nobody much about, but the office staffed in the evening. Quiet and clean and spacious. Wifi mostly functional. Breakfast very basic.

	It was such a nice place tucked just on the edge of town. It was a hike to get up there from the train station, but well worth it. The town is super quaint and we really enjoyed ourselves. We loved that there was no curfew, and breakfast was included. I would definitely stay at monasteries again.

The location was absolutely fantastic, and this was not apparent when we booked the trip--you did not say just how exceptinal the location was! Plus the rooms were very clean and comfortable.
