It boasts a Neo-Classical facade and an original bell tower from the 13th century. Other Umbrian towns like Assisi are also nearby and make for great day-trip destinations.

The interior is simple but welcoming just like the style of the building. The wooden ceilings and terracotta floors fit perfectly with the numerous 15th century frescoes that line the walls. The dining room is one of the more original in the guest house with stone walls and high arches giving it a traditional feel.

The Sisters of Beata Angelina are wonderful. Very accommodating. Their convent is within walking distance to Foligno city center and the main rail station. A secure and immaculately maintained room is both accommodating and peaceful. I highly recommend a visit. |
