This guest house is operated by the Chiese Evangeliche Protestanti.

The guest house disposed as interconnected houses in a typical Tuscan style named Arco and Colonna creating a large and open house with plenty of features and cloistered arcades looking towards internal gardens (gardens are closed to guests as they service the programs run by the Waldensian Faculty).

Rooms are spacious, well maintained and comfortable. There are large guest spaces over several floors and a grand hall with magnificent art and high vaulted ceilings.

Spiritual room available on request. A conference room is available for guests to use with all the latest technology.

Breakfast is not included in the price. There are various bars and cafes, as well as dining options, nearby.

Located close to the river and the historic center of Florence. City with easy access. Bus and train stops for surrounding locations.  

History

The guest house is located in a palazzo constructed in the mid 1600's as a residence for the noble Florentine family Del Rosso. Passing through many noted Florentine families, in 1922, the palazzo became the seat of the Waldensian Faculty of Theology evolving to the current work in supporting various social service programs for children, the elderly, and people in need.

	We were so thankful to have found this place last minute! The air condition and fan worked amazingly. Only complaint is that we had some trouble connecting to the wifi in our room, but it worked very well in the main areas. The lady at the front desk was also kind enough to make a call in Italian for us when a laundromat coin machine ate our money! We would definitely stay here again should we return to Florence. Well done!

	Located out of main tourist area, which was nice, but still very close to anything you might want to see. Although my room was up three flights of steps, guests are not allowed to use the elevator, even with suitcases, unless they are handicapped. Blinking safety light all night in room was very annoying. Guests are not allowed in the garden. Free wi-fi was great.

	The place I stayed was a bit away from the city center but was within walking distance of most major attractions in Florence. The room was clean and the breakfast was sufficient. The room I had on the street side of the building was a bit noisy. Also, the bedrooms are on the first floor of the building, and there is no elevator.
