Dimaro is a gorgeous alpine town that is part of the Adamello-Brenta National Park, which gives guests the chance to experience the beauty of Italy's flora and fauna. During the summer months, Dimaro is a haven for the active with athletics, soccer, bocce, tennis, volleyball, basketball, rafting, kayaking, fishing, trekking, horse-riding, mountain bike riding and canoeing just the beginning of a range of activities available. During the winter, travelers cannot go past the local ski terrains of Madonna di Campiglio and Folgarida. For those who don't enjoy the outdoors, a visit to the PissÃ³n and Rio MelÃ©drio waterfalls is not to be forgotten. Also worth visiting is the 15th century Church of San Lorenzo, which boasts notable frescoes and wooden Baroque sculptures.
