Services

This convent is operated by the Associazione culturale Ospitalità Villa Angeli.

Bright airy rooms and bathrooms are well presented and fully refurbished in 2023 with new modern furnishings. Many have balconies with views towards the Vatican and central Rome.

The breakfast room, guest spaces, reception and Chapel are all well appointed and immaculately presented.

Breakfast is included in the price.

Features

There is a peaceful garden, lovingly attended to by the Sisters that provides a welcome return from a day out in Rome and place to sit and relax.

Getting Around

The historic center of Rome. City with easy access. Public transport to central and surrounding locations is nearby.

	My room was spotlessly clean. The Sisters could not have been more helpful. Breakfast was superb - certainly not "basic" - thank you. It's very useful to have breakfast available from 7am every day. The kitchen area with fridge & microwave was useful but we would have appreciated tea&coffee making facilities in our rooms - but I suspect that this is not part of Italian culture? We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

	The sisters at Villa Angeli were kind, friendly and welcoming. I felt like I was staying with a family. After a busy and quite stressful time, it was good to stop and rest. The feeling and ambience inside Villa Angeli was peaceful and restful. Sisters Flor, Maria and others were all helpful with transport information and maps, and suggested where to eat nearby. The rooms, including the private bathroom, were spotless and the cleaner was helpful and lovely. Hot water constant. There is a lift. There is a small supermarket about five minutes away by foot. The lounge area offered a change of scene and facilities to heat water, food, etc. I felt safe, cosy, welcome and secure during my stay and was also very moved by the story of Saint Genoveffa. It was also lovely to meet and befriend other guests. Thank you to all the sisters at Villa Angeli.

	The nuns are wonderful! They do not speak English, but even if you don't know Spanish or Italian, there are other guests who normally can help translate. The nuns are super helpful should you need directions, supplies, etc. and always greet their guests with a kind smile. They are only a fifteen minute walk from the Vatican and a five minute walk from the metro. I will definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone who asks!

	The Sisters at Villa Angeli went out of their way to make us feel welcome and care for our wellbeing. We went to a Papal Audience and the Sisters insisted that they provide us with a packed breakfast as we were leaving before breakfast. If you need to be close to the Vatican and Vatican Museums this is the place to be.
