Customer Reviews
Good location, very quiet place, great breakfasts, very friendly staff. Totally recommend.
Nataliya - CA, United States (October 2015)
Very local to all attractions. Clean, welcoming , with extremely helpful staff , who went out of their way to help us. Rooms had air conditioning- what a luxury , which we so appreciated. Bathrooms even had complimentary toiletries. Breakfasts were tasty with fresh coffee juices and croissants etc. We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay
Karin - Middlesex, United Kingdom (September 2015)
Wonderful location - not touristy at all; you feel like you're in Rome for Romans. Yet, it's a short walk to the Coliseum.
D K - NY, United States (August 2015)
The staff were so kind and helpful.
Eric N - Fort Bonafacio, Taguig, Philippines (July 2015)
This was our first time staying at a monastery, and it was a great experience. The staff were friendly and helpful, and it was a great location with easy access to everything. I would highly recommend staying at Casa per Ferie Giusti.
Marilyn - Victoria, Australia (June 2015)
We enjoyed the location. It was a short walk to San Giovanni and Santa Maria Maggorie. The accommodations were everything we needed and we felt safe once inside the building. Breakfast was adequate. I would stay again in a monastery while in Rome.
Linda K - GA, United States (March 2015)
This was our very first experience with Monastery Stays and the experience was delightful. The location was excellent because the Coliseum, St. John Lateran church, San Clementi, and the Roma Termini were all within easy walking distance. Also, there was a Metra station close by for taking longer trips. There were many restaurants nearby and the front desk folks advised on which were their favorites. We had a room with a balcony overlooking a courtyard which was quiet. The WiFi service worked well. Breakfast was as advertised - plenty of rolls, coffee, yogurt, ham, cheese, and various condiments.
A Eugene - WI, United States (September 2014)
Nina was very helpful and accommodating! Our only issue with the room was the very small shower stall, otherwise we were happy with our stay! Thank you!
Carol - Ontario, Canada (September 2014)
Very clean and very friendly. Breakfast simple but fine. In the reception area there is a trolley with a guide book and some other books.
Peter - London, United Kingdom (August 2013)
Very clean rooms. Everyone was friendly and very helpful. The staff were very helpful in helping us navigate our way around Rome. There was a good variety for breakfast.
Stephanie - Alberta, Canada (August 2013)
This accommodation was excellent. A safe box, and a fridge in the room would have been nice. Staff was very nice.
Anne - Ontario, Canada (October 2012)
The people who worked at the monastery were very helpful and kind. The beds were comfortable.
Catherine - PA, United States (September 2012)
Great service. Good location.
Carol - New South Wales, Australia (September 2012)
Great location for the Colosseum and buses to get around the city and the train station. The reception staff are helpful.
Genevieve - Wiltshire, United Kingdom (August 2012)
Train from airport - then short taxi ride from Station. Furnishings a bit spartan but that's what we expected. Surprised and delighted that it was run just like a hotel - but without all the 'cheap' plush one finds in moderately priced hotels. Standard of cleanliness much better than most hotels. Did not need to use the garden because it was not mid Summer. Everything was excellent. Late curfew was great - even though we are an elderly couple we found ourselves returning after midnight from the delights of Roman dining.
Brian - , United Kingdom (May 2012)
My husband and I stayed at this monastery and we have to say that it exceeded our expectations. Our room had a balcony, was clean, and had a TV. The breakfast was basic, but it's going to be that way everywhere. The people at the front desk were always helpful Overall, this monastery was very nice and I'd go there again.
Grace - NY, United States (April 2012)
Great location and the staff was very helpful, we loved our stay at this guest house.
C Danette - NY, United States (October 2011)

Christopher - TN, United States (September 2011)
The staff were very helpful and friendly. There was computer access on the first floor. We much appreciated the quiet and economy of this stay. Breakfast was lovely in the morning.
Ann - NJ, United States (September 2011)
Staff was very friendly and helpful - taxi contract made transportation to train station and to FCO airport very affordable and easy - air conditioning was great since it was very hot in Rome.
Robert - MI, United States (July 2011)
Very friendly staff.

A great place to stay. Sisters and staff were friendly and helpful. They gave suggestions on transportation and tourist spots. They organized a taxi ride for us on the last day at a much better rate than calling ourselves. Wonderful service and hospitality.
Sophia - Ontario, Canada (June 2011)
Internet was great.
Julie - Tasmania, Australia (June 2011)
Right near a metro stop. All the major sites are easily walkable, the nuns were very accommodating. Overall not a bad value for a private bath, a secure room, and something that's walkable to major sites.
Karen - NY, United States (April 2011)
More comfortable and less formal than expected. Quiet, clean comfortable room. Very well situated from the point of view of the main railway station, the underground system and a number of the places we wished to visit. The optional evening dinner was utterly marvelous - we tried it the first evening and then decided to take it for the rest of our stay. While there is a set menu, you can indicate likes/dislikes/preferences. We enjoyed communicating with the chef in our limited Italian and her limited English. Packed lunch available. The breakfast was adequate but that's all. There was quite a spread of ages staying there, including at one stage a large school party, a father with teenage daughters and other people of various ages.
Jonathan - Swansea, United Kingdom (March 2010)
The monastery was within walking distance to all the sites we wanted to see. The rooms were very clean and there was not problems with noise. Everything was great!
kim - TX, United States (June 2009)
Very clean, quiet, and well done. The sisters were very kind. Truly lovely. No improvements needed. Without question, I would not stay anywhere else in Rome.
Jonathan - DE, United States (June 2009)
It was very quiet, super clean, and very central. I felt very safe. The price was good, and I would be very happy to do this again!! The room was a bit sparse, but perfectly adequate. I was hesitant about staying there, but I was really impressed.
Katrina - Queensland, Australia (March 2009)
