Staff was friendly. Room was clean. Breakfast was decent: Bread, sweet croissants, cold cuts, cheese, coffee.
Frank - On, Canada (September 2024)
OK stay. Location was a little less than perfect but, with the Metro, it worked. Rome is just noisy and expensive. This was a good find.
James - CO, United States (June 2024)
I enjoyed my stay, it was quiet, safe and clean and the room had everything you would need and the breakfast was great.
Julie - NSW, Australia (June 2024)
Super !!!Sœurs hyper gentilles et serviables. Propreté : rien à redire. Changement de serviettes à revoir car irrégulier. Terrasse très appréciée. Petit dej extra. Je recommande et si je dois revenir je reprendrais ce monastère. Très bien situé.
Bernard - , France (April 2024)
Safe and comfortable. Close to trains, metro and main sites in Rome.
Larraine - AB, Canada (April 2023)
Muy agradable. Lo recomiendo.
Francisca - MADRID, Spain (September 2022)
Clean, convenient, and great value. Everything appears to be fairly newly renovated, and the common spaces are clean and bright. Rooms are quite basic but comfortable, and there is a nice breakfast every morning and a lovely courtyard ... The sisters and staff were invariably kind, friendly, and accommodating. The location is quite near the Termini station, so convenient for traveling with bags, and it is also only a short walk to Santa Maria Maggiore and not far from St. John Lateran. It's a bit more of a walk to the city centre, but not bad.
Evelyn - NY, United States (September 2022)
It is a very comfortable and extremely clean residence. Lovely staff and sisters. It is a little way out of the center of Rome, which means it is nice and quiet, but also means that you spend a little longer on public transport.
Joanne - MD, United States (July 2022)
The service of the sisters was delightful, they are so kind.
Mary - MD, United States (June 2022)
The Sisters were very welcoming and friendly and were there to help at "prima colazione".
Aidan - CO WESTMEATH, Ireland (September 2019)
Sisters helpful & attentive, room very clean, bed & linens comfortable, courtyard lovely & restful with wide variety of blooming flowers!
Deborah - AK, United States (June 2019)
The Sisters were very kind and helpful. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable.
Maxwell - NSW, Australia (May 2019)
The sisters were so friendly and helpful, and I appreciated the location close to The Termini station and the Metro. I loved being able to walk to the Coloseum. The bed was quite firm, but comfy and the room was slamming clean with a lovely view of the garden.
Anne - AZ, United States (March 2019)
Excellent stay. Everyone was very friendly. The rooms are basic, but very clean and secure.
Terri - UT, USA (May 2018)
Excellent stay!
Dr. - UT, United States (May 2018)
It was excellent. The sisters were extremely kind to us, all was in perfect condition and they are making some reforms to improve the house. This is an extraordinary peaceful place. They helped us with indications for moving in the city and for going to the airport. We are very grateful to them.
Cristina - BUENOS AIRES, Argentina (August 2017)
The most friendly and welcoming sisters. They speak not a word of English but did their utmost to make us welcome. A simple breakfast.
David - Northamptonshire, United Kingdom (May 2016)
The Sisters are very friendly and helpful.
The facility is very nice and a great value.
Paul - CO, United States (June 2015)
The Sisters were absolutely wonderful. They did everything they could to make our stay as enjoyable as possible, and we had a lovely stay. We hope to see them again the next time we visit Rome.
Auckland - , New Zealand (April 2015)
Extremely kind and helpful group of sisters.
Tracy - MO, United States (May 2014)
An calming and reflective oasis in the midst of the hustle and bustle of Rome, on our first family holiday abroad in 6 years. Our lack of spanish and itailan was a barrier, but overcome by the sisters with the assistance of google translate ... with our weekly tourist travel ticket we conquered the tram, bus and metro.
p.s. the best ice-cream and pizza we had on our stay was just around the corner from our accommodation ... paying the balance of our accommodation in cash was a concern ... carrying so much money around especially with all the warnings of possible pick-pocketing!!!!
Deirdre - Co. Leitrim, Ireland (April 2014)
The Sisters were very friendly and helpful.
Eloise Lynne - Alberta, Canada (October 2013)
A very warm welcome. Breakfast was very basic but acceptable. The whole place very clean and comfortable. Some street noise during the night but I would certainly stay there again.
Jane - Warwickshire, United Kingdom (October 2013)
I was very satisfied with this venue, we used a taxi from the airport. The nuns were very kind and helpful, they mainly speak Spanish, which was good for us and they were relieved that they didn't have to speak English, since our first language is Spanish. They helped us to figure out where to take the metro and which buses to take (which is very close and walking distance from the hotel) to get to different points in Rome, they gave us maps and metro passes since some guests didn't need them any more and gave them to them to use and on our last day they also helped us to get a cab to go to Termini Station, which is really close to this place. The hotel is very nice and clean, the breakfast was pretty simple, coffee and rolls, but if you want something else you can make arrangements directly with them.
The area is OK, (some adjacent streets I would avoid) there are some schools on the block as well as stores and restaurants, at night you can hear some people talking loudly (we had the window opened). The room was very clean and basic and the beds were comfortable, we had a private bathroom with a nice shower and cleaned towels every day. The friendliness and kindness of the nuns made a real nice experience in our stay in Rome, I would use and recommend this place without any reservations.
Olga - MA, United States (October 2013)
A warm welcome and great hospitallity. A safe starting point for discovering Rome.
Christof - , Netherlands (May 2013)
A wonderful surprise and great value for money. The nuns were beautiful hosts
Sharon - Otago, New Zealand (May 2013)
Sisters friendliness, kindness & they went out of their way to assist us. If staying for three days would reccomend that a "Roma Pass" be purchased as this allows you to travel on the Metro, Trams & Buses. The convent is a reasonable distance from the main railway station but the above transport is very close to the convent.
Brian - Queensland, Australia (September 2012)
Everything was good and the sisters beautiful even if they didn't speak English.
Thomas - New South Wales, Australia (May 2012)
This was a really good experience. The Sisters couldn't have been more friendly or helpful. A nice Italian style breakfast was provided. The room was small, but comfortable. The Sisters spoke only Italian or Spanish, but we didn't test English skills as one of us could manage in both. Location is about 1km walk from Termini. Don't be put off by the streetscape as we had no problems either day or night.
Ken - Victoria, Australia (April 2012)
The place is pleasant, the sisters are warm and friendly, we enjoyed our stay very much. Just took a little effort for us to find as foreigners.
Man - , Hong Kong (April 2012)
We loved our stay at this monastery. Wonderful garden with quiet surroundings was great. The problem is where it is located. I am not sure if we would recommend this one to friends due to roughness of the area (Termini). We were happy with our stay nonetheless.
Wona - Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (September 2011)
Very clean, the sisters are very friendly (although communication is a little rough if you can't speak Italian). However it was very hot when we stayed here and although there is a fan in the room it only had one setting (slow) and did'nt really do anything to cool the room down. The street outside is very loud at night and made it difficult to get to sleep.
Chloe - Queensland, Australia (July 2011)
My expectations were minimum, therefore it definitely turned out to be above anything I expected. The nuns were very accommodating and very pleasant. The monastery itself and the accommodations were exceptionally clean and very comfortable. I felt secure and safe.
Diane - Ontario, Canada (October 2010)
It was clean, quiet, safe, and very comfortable. Lovely and comfortable room; large and modern WC/shower; lovely inner garden courtyard; breakfast was ample; sisters were very helpful and cheerful; very quiet street; elevator would be appreciated for those who have trouble with stairs; travelling with son, so having twin beds was essential, and they were very comfortable; map of city available at front desk.
Kari - MB, Canada (September 2010)
The rooms were good and adequate.
Margaret - MA, United States (June 2010)
Spotlessly clean. Very friendly in several languages. Elevator. Obviously recently renovated. Good value, no English. I do not speak Italian or Spanish but they we were able to communicate through sign language. I already have done so.
Rose Ann - CA, United States (December 2009)
Very pleasant, friendly people. Enjoyable experience. Friendliness, pretty courtyard to sit in outside in the sunshine. Convent obviously well maintained, but the garden also. We could just hear the sisters singing at mass in the mornings, which was lovely. Without doubt we would recommend it. It was a good experience.
Josephine M - , New Zealand (May 2009)
Very clean and quiet - the sisters were very friendly and helpful, providing maps etc. everything was fine.
Martin - Western Australia, Australia (January 2009)
Great location, clean, pleasant and comfortable, it was cleaner than some of our hotels and the nuns were very helpful and friendly.
Carolyn - vic, Australia (September 2008)
The rooms were clean and comfortable, the nuns were friendly without being obtrusive. They were very sweet and helpful.
Deborah - MN, United States (June 2008)
Great room, large, neat & tidy. Nuns were very friendly tho no one spoke English. When arriving at night, some light over door would have been helpful. Enjoyed inner courtyard which our windows faced. Breakfast snack was nice with choice of beverages. Hard to find at night. Need light over door. Wonderful experience. Nice and quiet at night.
