Constructed in the 3rd century, this former palace became the home of the mother of Emperor Constantine. During this time, part of the complex was converted into a church where ancient relics from Calvary were housed. Over the years, it underwent both transformations and restorations, with certain parts of the structure maintained perfectly. The ancient walls of the complex still stand, and the many areas inside these walls give an indication as to the importance of this complex as a part of Roman history.Customer Reviews
