House of the Monache Benedettine
This amazing venue oozes with history dating right back to the 12th century. In one of Umbria's most treasured cities, Bevagna has many stunning attractions to offer tourists all year round. Retaining Medieval period style features both inside and out, this lodging is sure to impress.Bevagna is renowned for its Roman heritage and vast development during Medieval times. A major attraction is the Church of Saint Michele Arcangelo, which was built in the 12th century and has a Romanesque facade with traditional Umbrian style decorations around its rose window. Foligno is only a 15 minute drive away, giving visitors the chance to explore another great Umbrian city.

Located in the center of Bevagna, a small Umbrian town about 5km west of Foligno. City with easy access. Well located for walking to the Bevagna city center and surrounding attractions. Public transport to central and surrounding locations is also nearby.

Train History
This lodging has had a tumultuous history after its opening at the end of the 12th century. It was abandoned in the 16th century because of thieves and robbers and was later dissolved by Napoleon during the Napoleanic Wars. It wasn't until the end of the 19th century that the venue finally came back into the hands of its current religious order.
