Poppi is best accessed with your own transport, or to/from Arezzo.HistoryThe Camaldolese monks were founded in 1012 by S Romualdo in Camaldoli, the community Camaldolese nuns were born gradually near the monasteries or on the initiative of individual bishops who were inspired by the charisma of Romualdino.
