There are a range of tourist activities in San Remo, ensuring guests are never short of a day of sightseeing. Piazza Eroi Sanremesi is a fantastic place to visit, and every Tuesday and Saturday there is a market held there. The two main ports in San Remo are Porto Vecchio and Porto Sole (the monastery overlooks Porto Sole). Ariston Theatre always hosts special concerts and music festivals, which makes for a great night out. Be sure to sample the local culinary specialty "Sardenara", a variation on the traditional pizza.
