Ljubljana, the picturesque Baroque capital of Slovenia is a masterpiece in itself. Intersected by the Ljubljanica (river), Ljubljana has stood for hundreds of years, which has created a rich and fascinating history.

With a famously car free city centre, Ljubljana is a peaceful town with plenty to offer those who visit. The stunning 11th century Ljubljana Castle overlooks the city from its hilltop position, a focal point of the history of this city and Slovenia.

Whether you are taking in one of the many galleries and museums in the town (with the National Gallery and the Museum of Modern Art being standouts), strolling around the tranquil cobblestone streets or people watching at a cafe, Ljubljana has something to offer everybody.
