The internal museum is a must for all guests staying at this superb Monastery Stay!The lodging is only a short trip from Varese and Lake Varese, so the many attractions there are within easy reach. While here, a must is the Sacred Mountain of Varese, one of the nine World Heritage listed Sacred Mountains of Piemonte and Lombardia - a very holy sight and a spiritual experience. Another fantastic destination is the scenery of Lake Varese, where you can sit amongst the green surroundings and take in the natural beauty of the area.

The lovely gardens are great for a relaxing stroll, to admire the house or for a quiet, reflective moment to yourself.
This venue has a private art collection, which is open for guests each Wednesday and Friday from 11.00 am to 4.00 pm. Alternatively, groups can arrange a guided tour on different days upon request at reception. Extra costs apply.

The opulent lodging is a simply marvelous stay - the old 18th century building has plenty of history and has been immaculately maintained over the years. Starting out in 1700 as a summer residence to a prominent Italian family, the house, as well as the incredible artwork and antiques were donated to the Vatican in 1850 so that it could be used as accommodation. It currently also acts as the headquarters to a religious foundation, who help to undertake research and activities into Christian issues.Customer Reviews
