House of the Suore di San Giuseppe di AostaEnjoy the internal Botanical Gardens and the gorgeous views from the terrace for a wonderful stay in Liguria. With plenty of history, and being in close proximity to other towns along the Ligurian coast, this is a fantastic offering.Citta Vecchia, the fortified walls around the town and the three main entrance gates should be seen, with history dating back to the 15th century (the town was attacked in Saracen raids in 1543). Museo Bicknell is the main museum in the town, with many fine pieces of art. Via dei Colli is the road following the steep coast nearby, offering panoramic views that are some of the best in Italy, and are a must see. The lodging itself is only a short trip from the French border, so a day trip to France is easily accessible from here, where Monaco and Nice are nearby.
