This convent is operated by the Suore dei Sacri Cuori.

The location of the lodging places it in a quiet part of the city, but still not far from the major tourist attractions that makes Rome so famous.

Breakfast is included in the price. The dining room also serves lunch and dinner, and caters to a wide variety of tastes. Can be booked at the guest house or prior to arrival.

Features

The guest house achieves a good balance between traditional and modern aspects, with contemporary furniture adorning the rooms, while the walls are filled with historic and religious paintings.

Getting Around

West of the city center. City with easy access. Public transport to central and surrounding locations is nearby.  

History

The lodging has been in operation since 1966, and the order is carrying on the work of Beata Eugenia Ravasco, who lived in Genoa during the 19th century.

	My stay was a very welcome calm time after two weeks with a tour group. The facility was a good place to rest and sleep in the evenings after touring Rome and Pompeii on my own. The metro, restaurants, and a supermarket are each 2 blocks away and a convenience store is at the corner. The staff are all friendly and helpful.

	Much nicer on the inside than it appears on the outside. Nicest of the 3 monasteries that we stayed at while travelling through Italy. Rooms were comfortable and the shower was great. They had a nice dinner (additional charge) that was amazing. Staff was really helpful and nice. 15 minute walk to Vatican. Not a whole lot of food options next to stay. Would recommend eating dinner there. Breakfast was adequate. Nothing special, but it worked. I would consider staying here again.
