12 mins walk from Vatican city, great parking, very helpful reception staff, great breakfast, good aircon.
Peter - N/A, United Kingdom (September 2019)
This was a very nice place and a hidden gem. The room was very well appointed and seemed like a nice hotel. The walk from the Metro is a little far but it does give one the opportunity to experience life in Rome. It is very close to the Vatican. The breakfast was very nice and even offered decaf coffee from one of their machines. We enjoyed our stay here very much.
Greg - CA, United States (June 2019)
I liked being next door to the church! God bless!
Fr. James - FL, United States (September 2018)
The staff were welcoming and professional. I arrived later than advised on the first day as my train was delayed, but this wasn't a problem. The breakfast was plentiful and very tasty. This stay is located only 8 minutes ' walk from the Vatican, but at night it was blissfully quiet. I would definitely return to this Stay.
Catherine - VIC, Australia (October 2017)
Very nice people. I would recommend asking for a room off the main street. The location was within a 15 minute walk to the Vatican Museum and 20 minutes to St. Peters, 10 minutes to the subway; very convenient.
Charles - CA, United States (October 2015)
We had had extremely enjoyable stay. The service, accommodation and location were all excellent. We especially enjoyed the use of free Wi-Fi.
Doris - Ontario, Canada (June 2015)
We really enjoyed our stay at the Casa per Ferie. People were very kind and helpful. The building is renovated and clean. The neighborhood is quiet at night. I recommend it to anyone who wants to visit Rome at an affordable price.
Daniel - Quebec, Canada (September 2014)
Casa per Ferie Mons.Aurelio Bacciarini was a comfortable and welcoming guesthouse that i will happily return to on my next visit to Rome. The Italian breakfasts were generous and the dinners were delicious. The staff were friendly and the rooms while spartan were clean and comfortable with little traffic noise at night to disturb your sleep after a hard daY walking Rome's cobblestone lanes.
Amanda - VIC, Australia (May 2014)
This was a perfect place to stay because it was within walking or Metro distance to everything in Rome. Great price for a taxi to the airport which was arranged by the front desk staff. Only disappointment was no gluten free food available at breakfast.
Ronald - ON, Canada (May 2014)
Very pleasant comfortable accommodation. Warm, welcoming and helpful staff. Very convenient for visiting Vatican, and good location for public transport generally.
Patrick - N/A, United Kingdom (October 2013)
A great and helpful staff. Very good value, especially quiet (unusual for Rome), in a real and interesting neighbourhood.
Richard - IL, United States (May 2013)
We had a great time at this guest house. Rooms were spotless clean, comfortable, with excellent illumination and ventilation. Our room faced the internal parking lot, so it was very quiet at night for a perfect sleeping. The staff was very kind and helpful. They also supplied us with transportation to the airport very early in the morning at a good price. I would surely recommend this guest house to my friends.
Adolfo - San Jose, Costa Rica (May 2013)
Great staff - really helpful with our infant's needs & good-spirited nice meals rooms cleaned well everyday
Grant - Victoria, Australia (March 2012)
Garden limited as there is no sitting area. Roof Terrace no facilities - only good for limited view. Friendly relaxed staff and environment. Breakfast good, Evening meal (daily fixed single menu) good quality and generous helpings.
brian - Berks, United Kingdom (August 2011)
We found Stefan very helpful and have had a wonderful stay in Rome.
David - Derbyshire, United Kingdom (May 2011)
This was an excellent place to stay! Getting to various parts of Rome is very easy if you travel from the metro station (only a 5 min walk) or taxi. Also a very quick walk to the Vatican museum, and St Peter's square. The area has every shop you'll need close by. It was nice and quiet, but had a very pleasant atmosphere. I will definitely recommend to my friends, and will stay here when I return in the future. Thank you!
Michael - New South Wales, Australia (May 2011)

Susan - , New Zealand (October 2010)
Very comfortable, quiet, with a great view from the rooftop terrace! The room was very clean with exceptionally modern bathroom. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Wonderful breakfasts!
Stephen - IA, United States (October 2009)
The hallways were very dark and seemed some of the lights were out in our hallway. I also had a light out in my room, but other then that we had a very pleasant experience and stay.
Kevin - VA, United States (October 2009)
Clean, safe not much chose for breakfast. No internet connections and mostly no english. I'd probably recommend but explain the limitations.
Brenda - MD, United States (June 2009)
Very clean, and comfortable. Staff were unobtrusive and helpful.
Anthony - Lancashire, United Kingdom (October 2007)
It was clean. The reception staff were very obliging and friendly. The walls were not sound-proofed so the games being played by the teenage boys next door were clearly heard when I was trying to get to sleep. Anone who wants to visit the Vatican would enjoy it very much.
Janet - SAR China, Hong Kong (August 2007)
I was expecting a "monastery" setting and got an urban convent...It was conveniently located, clean and quiet. Not the "atmosphere" I was expecting but with the proviso that it is a converted building.
Geraldine - CA, United States (July 2007)
Polite and friendly staff, the rooms were incredibly clean and we appreciated the option of the evening meal! The staff was great and the rooms were light and airy.
